Steve...........not being too nosey... V70-XC70

I got the car for a price that meant that if I had to put a new engine in it it was still a fair deal.

I have made some tools and have the head off and put the lower half of the head back on a retorqued it down. I need to make a cam holder tomorrow to start the upper head assembly. I have the special goo instead of the gasket. The concern I have is if I am on the money on the cranshaft timing marks. There are to very faint scribe lines on two adjacent peaks. When I line them up #1 cylinder is about 1/16 " down from TDC Is this right? I got the belt off and the new one on without taking the big pulley off. The complexity of the v70 compare to my old 16v 740 is amazing. About 20 little plugs and sensors with wires running everywhere and the belt access reallys sucks. I will keep you posted as it goes back together.
