Surprised to see you on FWD. Check with a Volvo dealer parts man you trust and see if the swap will work. If they are both turbos or both NA they will most likely work. You may need two VIN's to check too. In that case the letter number describing the engine may be the answer. You could call Miguel in Houston at what used to be Sefeld 800 468 0041 for a possible answer. This guy is good.
