Just did the tranny flush, now the car shudders 850

Two days ago I got my hands on a flush kit and did my '97 (54k) with 10 qts of Mobil 1. I did it 2 qts at a time - the outgoing fluid was darker then the new, but not burnt and everything went fine. The car runs beautiful. 10 qts out and 10 qts in and boy, was I a happy camper.

Now today I encountered a severe shudder in the car when I applied the brakes. Is this because the new fluid is more slippery then the old ? Should I add a conditioner to it ? I know when I had my Nissan done, the dealer added a Non Shudder additive to it and said that was standard procedure.

The shudder only happened twice, but it did shake me up a bit. Would the new ATF fluid cause a ruckus with the ABS ? I do have aftermarket rotors and pads in the car, but they've functioned perfectly.

Thanks for your help guys.
