Broken plastic mounting tabs on dashboard for 96 850R estate 850 1996

Well the dashboard was loose and sure enough I tightened them not knowing the darn thing was mounted with plastic tabs to the dashboard damn damn damn.
Many time we heard lud cracking noises and from than on I knew I as in trouble, especially after finding bits of plastic on the carpet below......eeeech

Anyway if the dash is complete broken, which I now suspect it is..what can i do to fix it....and if it does need replacing how big a job is it.
Is the dasy split into a various number of pieces that mount on to a major part and than bolt to the firewall?!?!
How much is a new dash?!?!

I live in Sydney Australia, and im beginning to work out that Australian conditions are no good for Swedish plastic in the 850s. A lot of plastic components are cracked and broken. Is this something common with crappy plastic quality in the 850???

Anyways this car is really depressing me...get back to me
