850 Air Conditioning - Bad evaporator and dryer... 850 1996

I have a 96 850R with air problems. I was told by a air con shop never to use sealents of any kind of stop leak, conditions are ok.but on the stop leak stuff you have a small orifece in the system and it could clog it up and also they will not work on any system that has had it put in because it will ruin and contaminate their machines.I am just boosting it up with just pain stuff maybe once a month and it stays cool.
