The styling of the 850s is nice, isn't it? When I was closing the deal on mine, the seller drove up, and as I looked in my mirror to verify it was he, I thought "I'm getting THAT car?? Wow."
Regarding your comments on A/C in Volvos, my only data point is I mentioned to my indie Volvo mechanic I had heard the A/C was a chronic trouble spot on 850's (worried that mine has never been worked on), and his response was "I would say the evaporator has been replaced on most every '94 850 on the road. But, your year was fine ('95), and '96 as well." It would be interesting to have stats on this, because everyone talks about it.
