Gas Gauge Reading Low 850

Suddenly my gas gauge is reading 6 gallons low. Fillup only shows 12 gallons. I suspect the sender unit in the tank. Has anyone had any experience replaceing this? I checked Volvospeed Bay 13 without any luck.
