Upfront....I recently V70-XC70

departed with my 98 V70R AWD wagon after it hit 125K miles and was needing some serious work and $'s (about $4,000) I decided the car did not owe me and I got a good price on trade towards a Mazda 6s wagon brand new with big rebates!! I was a volvo guy for over 13 years and did 95% of the maintanence and repairs myself but they have gotten beyond the "normal" range of fixes. No...the mazda is no where near a volvo (especially the seats...very true) but its "new/affordable" and probably much more trouble free for at least 5 to 6 years. I have had earlier mazdas and they were great and reliable. I love volvos and cars in general.......I just don't have the time or patience for my everyday family car to be worked on anymore.......getting tired of that!
