are 850s good?? 850 1993

I'm looking at buying my first 850. a '93 with 170 000 miles on it. Is there anything I need to know about 850s? problem areas, What to look out for, Overall thoughts feelings and impressions??? etc. I have owned a 164, lots of 240s a 343 and a 360 and several 740/760s but never an 8 series car. thanks
