are 850s good?? 850 1993

I think like everyone noted, there are little nagging items that come up but tranmissions, engines and general durability of the cars is unbelievable. I have 6 volvos in our family most 850s or S70s all have been great.

1990 240 220,000 miles on it. WOW. one electrical failure (broken wire) some replaced windshields (broken) but one TOUGH car.
1993 850 - 5 speed 180,000 miles on it. AC doesn't work. Other than that no failures of any kinds. routine maintainence.

1995 850 wagaon 5 speed 165,000 miles on it. Zero failures, muffler has small leak. Bullet proof

1999 S70 5 speed. 130,000 miles on it. Evaporator and radiator replaced plus 2 clutch sensors (60 bucks) and the famed ETM unit 900. Still a fantastic car and wicked fun to drive.

1999 S70 AWD 170,000 miles on it. Hard life, runs great and almost no problems

2001 T5 Wagon 5 speed. 46,000 miles. Great car FAST.. probably more expensive to maintain but boy is it fun to drive!!!!!!
