Squeaking noise on left side- wheels or brakes? 850

Hi,

I've been noticing an intermittent squeaking sound (like a squeaking mattress) coming from the left-hand side of the car, from the wheel or brake vicinity. I believe it is only affecting the left-hand side (both front and rear), but I am not 100% sure. The squeak is definitely dependent on the wheel speed (faster = more squeaking). I just had all 4 tires replaced, but I believe the sound was there prior to that (though in less frequency). I've also had problems with brake squeal over the past 2 years (my Volvo mechanic greased the rear pads, which helped only for a week), which may or may not be related to this issue? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks,

Ron
