odometer problem 850 1997

I just did this on my '94. It's not too bad a job, I was done in 45 minutes. Basically, you removed the top pad of the dash, disconnect two harnesses, lift out the instrument cluster, remove a few screws on the back of the cluster (12 AFAIR), lift the odometer assembly out, remove two screws that hold the stepper motor on the odometer, and replace the teeny-tiny, itty-bitty gear ( it's price will shock you...I paid $40, but have found I can get it cheaper from a few other sources).. and then put it all back together. I was done in 45 minutes.
