How do you program a keyless entry remote control? S70 1999

S70's are totally different...trust me, I've been there. You will need a PIN number to have your remotes programmed (much like the code for your radio) and this number can be obtained from your VIN#. Then the PIN is used with VADIS system and the VT-2000 (Volvo Tool...whatever the number is) hooked into VADIS to do the programming. If a dealer tells you that the sticker is missing so nothing can be done, go to another dealer...The number on the sticker is a reference to the PIN so they don't have to look it up and so he could sell you a new remote for $$$. Just tell your dealer that your kid scraped it off if it ever comes up. DON'T let on that you bought the remote off eBay. Trust me, I've been there.
