are the 1994 AW 50-42LE's the same as the 1996 ones 850

Hi all,

I have a 1996 850r auto and want to know if the automatic gearbox from a 1994 t5 will fit?

Apparently the engine in my car and the 1994 are the same, but volvo have different part numbers for the 94/95 t5 autobox and the 96- boxes.

any help welcome.
