cruise wiring at vac pump 850

Ihcss--Have been messing with my cruise control for the past two days, exchanging one out of my 97R with one I took out of a junk yard for ten bucks to make sure it works. There are three wires coming in to a round-shouldered connector with a flat bottom that plugs into your vacuum control. Obviously some jerk took his side cutters and cut the wires rather than unplug it from your car. What you're going to have to do is go to a wrecking yard, find your vacuum control on the underside of a battery tray from some totally mangled junker, and cut the wires so you have a plug that you can plug into your vacuum control. This means taking three of those little pink connectors that you crush with a pliers (they are the smallest--don't use the blue ones) and hook your newly acquired connector to the three wires (taped well with electrician's tape because of the acid that drips down from the battery) so you can plug it into your vacuum control. Only way to do it. Dick
