Won't start, wont do anything - dealership (service) doesn't know what it is. S80 1999

.......BUT that won't cause a "NO CRANK" condition as you initially stated above. It'd still crank all day but wouldn't have proper fuel pressure, the 1rst thing someone should have checked for "cranks, no fire".
