Late the other night, I was driving home from picking my mother-in-law up at the airport and it was raining. To get to my house I have to drive through a part of the interstate that winds around and has no shoulder...just a retaining wall. There are at least 3 places on this road that the curves are "blind." I was not pushing the speed because of the rain, but when I came around one of the curves, there was a set of headlights shining straight at me (another car had spun around 180 degrees). I put my brakes on naturally and I could hear the ABS unit kicking in and I stopped without any sliding, and in time. I had just had Victor repair my ABS unit a couple of weeks ago and for that I am very, very thankful. If I did not have a working ABS unit in my car I would have hit this car. So, if any of you think, well..."my ABS light comes on and off...I really don't like ABS anyway...I'll wait to get it fixed, or maybe not fix it at all," think again. This is a safety issue you really don't need to live without. In my case, I had my son and my wife's mother in my car. I'm glad I had a working ABS in my car...it's something I won't live without. Thanks, Victor!
