Engine Codes 850

I would get the Bosch at the very least if not the actual sensor from Volvo. The hardest part is getting the connector loose up where it attaches ontop of the trans bell housing. The plastic is usually real brittle and will break, the good news though is that the new sensor comes with a new plastic retainer. The little clips that hold it down to the top of the engine mount cover can be a pain in the ass too. If you break or destroy them in the process you can usually do what you need to retain the harnesses with a couple of zip ties.

Good Luck,
Mark
