Most everyone here will never open that drain plug. We use a flush and fill method by disconnecting the hose, adding a plastic line to a container and drain off 2 quarts at the same time adding 2 quarts from the dip stick pipe. If you do this 7 or 8 times, you get a full flush and never need to drain it through the plug. Anyway, draining by way of the plug only gets a very little amount of the ATF out. The oil pan drain plug would be the place to install the Fumoto plug you mentioned.
