Volvo's have specific links at the "4 corners" for jacking. the jack has a special hook that connects to this link. I've never had a problem using the stock jack. You can pick one up a used one at a junkyard or at the dealer. It's likely that other Volvo years and models use the same jack.

I don't know of a commercial brand that has the volvo hook fixture. If you buy a commercial jack, be careful to jack at a safe area on the chassis.
