Steering column multifunction switch or Ignition starter switch 850

All,
Have trouble with my dash lights often flickering off/ON. I now strongly believe it is in my steering column. Reading past comments people refered to the problem in the steering column switch area. Reviewing my Haynes manual to plan for a call on a part order the manual refers to two switches a 1. steering column multi-function switch and a 2. Ignition starter switch.

Which part should I call in for ? Any recommendation where to call other than dealer for best price. Any help would be appreciated.
