Squeaky steering wheel in the cold S70

"The S/V70 has a plastic bearing that in time can cause a squeaking noise when turning the steering wheel. The bearing is located at the bottom of the steering column where the steering shaft goes through the firewall. There is a black rubber boot covering the steering shaft as it goes through the fire wall. The below picture shows the location of the boot. It's a bit easier to work in this area if you take down the kick panel on the drivers side." for the rest go over to Volvospeed.com, it's in the maintenance procedures section under "steering".

Yeah, it's getting cold and mine's doing it (again), too. "Easy" fix, about $0.50 of grease.
