2002 V70 XC tire upsizing? V70-XC70 2002

I wanted to put some larger 18" atlanis wheels on my wife's 2002 V70 XC which currently have factory 16" wheels installed. The "atlantis" wheels are new off of a 2005 XC90. I'm not sure if this will ruin the AWD function or suspension on the V70 XC, please advise?
