Most 98 v70s were shipped with Michelin MXVHs. I have had several sets on mine since the originals. They were V rated. I have also had the same Michelins in an H rating the held up pretty well. I am currently running Continental Contritacs in an H rating. Ride and handling are ok, they tend to have to be balanced more often that the Michelins and the tread wear is fairly poor but certainly much cheaper initially than the Michelins
