Coolant hose / Trans fluid replacement V70-XC70

You can use any with ethelglycol (spell?)...Peak is a good brand. It is the green/yellow flourescent stuff. Go to your Autozone or Pepboys and make sure the label on the jug says "for any radiator." I bought the stuff already mixed with water, but you don't have to do that (more expensive). Avoid the radiator cock (easy to break off)...there's another outlet on the low side of the engine. Open it up and flush good, then close the cock and empty all but a quart or so of the 100% coolant (1 Gal) jug, then fill the rest of the way with distilled water. Drive it and the coolant level will settle after air bubbles make their way up to the expansion tank...top off with more distilled water and you're good to go. Try to avoid tap water unless you want to run a hose in just to flush out...but in that case, for the last flush use distilled water before adding coolant again. Distilled water is very cheap...less than $.60 at Kroger for a gallon jug.
