There are V70Rs in manuals out there... there's a guy that comes into my store that has a beautiful aqua colored one... blazing fast that one. They are just hard to find that's all, or you have to order one from a dealer, which is prohibitively costly.

The difference between this and the wrangler tranny it that this is fwd only as opposed to 4wd... there is no linkage tunnel.

I would love to find a good V70R with a 6spd... a heavenly car right there. Right up there with my dream '07 M5 Touring that is planned to come out :). Next time I have a half million dollars lying around (a hundred thousand for the M5 and V70R, then the other four-hundred K for the insurance on the M5 and for parts (brakes and tires mainly) and gas :P )
