I agree with Klaus...also many people are drilling small holes from under the car, into the pump as a preventative measure...when the check valve (SAS) doesn't do it's job, it lets in condensation that gets stored as water at the bottom of the air pump and there is no escape for it. I think it's a good idea...if you hear a "whirl" sound in the morning when it's cold, then the pump is most likely already full of water and this has affected the bearings in the pump.
