Water in Flame trap 850 1994

I was taking things apart to clean the throttle body on my 94 855 and I noticed a few drops of water in the flame trap holder area. Nice clear water, not antifreeze or some other liquid. And judging by the tan color of the oily sludge, it may have been there for a while.

I also found the vacuum line from the flame trap to the vacuum tower in near the top of the throttle body was not tight and needed replacing and that one of the other elbows on the tower was also broken and needed replacing.

So my question is where did the water come from? Is it as simple as maybe a little snow or rain getting in via the bad vacuum lines? Or is there some other area I should at?

I'll keep an eye on it but water along the throttle body is unexpected and has me wondering.

Thanks,
Ken
