A couple of months ago, I posted here relative to an '02 S60 T5 whose climate control system had apparently gone stupid...
http://brickboard.com/AWD/index.htm?id=1022522
The short version... a system that would randomly pump very cold air to the footwells when you were asking for heat, and would also randomly shut down the A/C when you were asking for cooling. 3 or 4 trips were made to the dealer for fault code checks (never were any) software download (didn't help), and recalibrations (ditto).
In early December (with about 200 miles left under warranty, BTW), I took it back to the dealer and told them to keep it as long as they needed, but don't bother to call me until they were sure it was fixed. A few days later, the car was returned with a new Climate Control Module, replacement of which was apparently authorized by a factory representative.
So far, so good... no frozen feet in about a month of wintertime driving. It will probably be late March or April before we can truly test the A/C function, but my money says that problem is also fixed.
