Voltage fluctuations on cold start 850 1996

Hi All,

During the recent (cold) weeks my -96 NA 855 has developed a symptom where the voltage drops briefly (less than a second) a couple of times following a cold start. Its evident in both the dash lights as well as the headlights which both fade during the drops. This is only during the first minute after cold start and everything else is working normally.

One theory I have is that my alternator isn't delivering enough and that there are some self tests (ABS maybe?) going on drawing enough electricity to cause the drops.

Any input or theories is greatly appreciated
