After you replaced the wires, and tried to start the car, you turned the key and what happened?
Did the engine not make any noise at all?
Did the engine turn over (ruh-ruh-ruh-ruh-ruh-ruh-ruh) but not start (sometimes people say it did not "catch")?
From your first posting, which said that it would "not turn over," that indicates that the engine did not make any noise at all. The reason this is confusing is that, even if you made an error replacing the wires, that should not have any influence on the ability of the engine to turn-over. So, either the information you are giving us is incorrect, or something else is happening here.
