AM radio Static S80

No help, just a question. First I have heard of a fix for Volvo AM static, and I am curious if this strip is also usable in an 850 / V70 (pre-2000's) with the antenna in the glass of left rear side window, and antenna "box" in teh panel below that. My V70 is actually pretty good, but eh 850 gets a lot of AM static, and has new wires, new Volvo plugs, etc. which didn't change anything.
