Usually the 300 pound guys aren't sitting in the passenger seat ---

How about buying a passenger seat from a recycler and having a shop swap the bottom covers? Try erievovo.com

(BTW, I replaced the cloth bottom on mine with a new Volvo part and it took about 3 tries before they got the right one. Since Ford took over the Volvo inventory control, it's a logistical nightmare.)
