my link was so corroded i had to cut it off...angle grinder to cut through the loer stud...drilled the centre out of the upper one...took maybe an hour...go for it!

oh make sure the car is VERY securely off the ground at both sides atthe front you need to take the load off both front wheels and your probably goign to end up doing a bit ot bashing/tugging and you REALLY dont want it falling down!

i use concrete builders blocks - the high density ones about 18"*9"*6" on their side, with falt peices of timber on top under each side no WAY it can go anywhere!

yes i do have axel stands i just dont trust em!
