My wife just bought a '97 850 sedan. The car came with one remote, which initially would not unlock the car, even though it would lock it. I cleaned the contacts on the remote PC board, and it now works to unlock the driver's door, but... if you double click, it opens all 4, then instantly relocks everything. I bought another remote on Ebay, supposedly tested etc, and after successfully programming it, it does the same thing as the first. Anyone have firsthand experience with this? The remote is the less common one that often brings $55 on Ebay.
