There aren't too many happy S80 owners on this site. If you feel that the tumbler is at fault, get some electric cleaner spray and try spraying the tumblers. Lets hope it is that simple.
Otherwise, you will have to take off the plastic cover around the steering shaft and inspect the ignition switch. Undo the two screws and pull it off and then try the key/lock again. If the key turns easily, the dealer will charge you about $70 for a new ign sw.
