I bought my car from B-K Volvo in Waterloo. There's a sign in their service department advertising throttle body cleaning for about $100 . . . which is appropriate since the flat rate time for this job is about 1.2 hours . . . if the cleaning actually accomplishes anything.

I was speaking with the service manager back in December, and he commented on the ETM warranty and that they were replacing them on a regular basis. Of course, they won't/can't replace them under warranty if there are no diagnostic codes pointing to an ETM failure.

I have not yet received notification from Volvo Canada.
