In the latest issue they actually recommend the 2004 S80 as a used car.
They also say "avoid" the '99-'02.
I also see that for the 2004 2.5T kbb gives a price of about $500 less than their price for my 2004 Acura, even though it probably cost someone $10,000 more for the S80 two years ago.
If I could stand driving an AT, and I found a 2004 CPO 2.5T with the Volvo VIP 100,000 mile warranty I might consider it at that sort of a discount.
(Just a side issue, but BMW dealers price their CPO cars at levels that are designed to move inventory, Volvo dealers tend to ask prices that are just silly. Maybe their based on the lease residuals, but mostly the CPO Volvos seem badly overpriced. Caveat emptor!)
BTW we're mostly not complainers here, just realists.
