black smoke - plz help 850

Sounds like it could be the MAF...do you smell rotten eggs from the Catalytic converter? If so, disconnect the MAF and see if this straightens things out. If things work better with it off (will set codes so you'll have to get them cleared...probably already set though) then it is the MAF and you need to replace it. If that's not it, then I suspect you got some bad gas somewhere.
