Where to buy 5w40 in US

I have gotten nowhere looking for 5w40 oil. It appears that Chevron, Castrol, Pennzoil, Mobil 1 and a company called Motul (CDN?) make it, but I can't find it anywhere (more than a little frustrating). If you look in our manual, it seems to be the recommended grade to use for temperature extremes.

I am not a gearhead, so I don't hang out at the local speed shop - I have tried the chains. I am willing to go synthetic if I have to (are these all synthetic?). So, any ideas where to go and pick some up in the US? I have an '95 850T with 164K miles on it and the original RMS.
