I'm not sure what you have for tools - need a jack, stands, socket/regular wrenchs for undoing the lower strut mount from the stearing knuckle and some wire or a way to hold it aside after disconnecting, a wrench to fit the upper mounting nuts, a spring compressor tool, and a set of pliers will work on the spin nut on the strut shaft. New bolts and nuts are recommended when reconnecting the new strut to the steering knuckle, and then you'll want to have the front aligned after all is put back together.
I ordered a set of adjustible Koni's for the front of my '95 850 wagon, along with new mounts, the spring compressor tool (comes as a pair), and sway bar endlinks from IPD. I was hoping the struts might have been a little softer at their lowest setting, but still better then the origionals I replaced.
All and all, it took me an afternoon in my driveway, including alignment.
Good luck and work safe.
