This is the all/front wheel drive forum. If your car has AWD it would say so in the rear deck plate.
Your AC charge is probably a bit low, resulting in a prolonged pressure building time. Any AC shop can check the pressure for you, or you can buy a pressure gauge and check it yourself. Sounds like you are about 1/2 can low.
