Blinking lights S70 1998

This morning when I started my 98 S70 the recirculate and A/C off lights flashed on and off for about 30 seconds and then returned to normal. I have the automatic climate control. I'm assuming this generated an error code but I don't have a code reader handy.

I remember having a similar incident in my former 850 and I can't remember what the fix was.

Any ideas?
