You didn't mention the tread left on the S tires compared to the V. First, I would not put different size tires on a car, it messes with the handling, not to mention traction control while under 25mph. If the S tires are that much better than the V, why not move all 4 tires? Or just replace the one bad tire with a new one? Or just get 4 new ones and think about putting snows on the spare wheels.
