AC problem - Hot/Cold air coming out on different vents on the same time

DGM, thank you for your input. Could you, or anyone else, to elaborate more detail the temparature sensor,ECC unit, and switch row? Is the ECC the control panel where you the knobs to hot and cold?

The ac worked again for awhile. When the ac was running properly, I turned off the ac button and turned the fan full blast to rid of the remaining moisture off the fins. All of a sudden, the driver side vent switched to hot air. Once I turned the fan full blast with the ac working properly and the driver's side vents changed to hot air while the passenger continues to blow cold air.
