Mine has done the same thing. I think it was a drain sill that became di-attached and that is what is blocking it from going forward. So to close it, as I frantically had the dealer made to do, they had to damage the left track. I love my sunroof and its one of the main reasons I bought a car with one. So its very important on my list. I have a quote from my indy mechanic who will give it to a bodyshop to replace the entire mechanism, panels and all for about $450, alot better than the $700+ the dealer wanted. Used is fine, as long as it works!
