turbo gauge not working properly and codes module not working 850 1995

i have noticed that on my 95 850 turbo ..during acceleration..the turbo gauge is not going to the right enough..it only goes a little after middle of the gauge and them comes back...can someone tell me what the reason or the problem might be related to...i was told that maybe there is vacuum leak somwhere...

I tried to get the codes from the front of the car but the wire that goes into the socket area is broken completetly..i was wondering is there a way to fix that wire...
