Master Window Regulator Out AGAIN V70-XC70

On the 850s the switches are on the console. If true of the v70s is there someone who uses the car who might have spilled something in there? Might be worth trying a liberal dose of electrical contact cleaner, if you haven't so far, before buying another switch assembly. I speak from experience on this - mirror switches too.
