Timing belt

Damn, I thought I would never see another S70 again, but I couldn't resist when I found one at a great price. Just bought a 98t5, 97K on odo w/most options, super clean on the interior and the body.

How can I tell if the timing belt has been replaced if the second owner who bought the car at 84K mi doesn't know? I hear a click, click, click at start up. I'm changing the oil and using a factory filter. Any other thoughts?
Thanks in advance.
