replacing hoses on flame trap housing S70 1998

No, you don't need to remove the intake manifold, at least not on my 850. W/ mine, I just yanked off the smallest hose and took it to Autozone for a replacement (about $1 for a foot). It was 100% blocked by crud. It runs from the f.trap housing to the "vacuum tree."
